This week we bring you the first edition of the prestigious India Travel Awards- East,
Recognising and celebrating the achievements of those behind the success of the travel and tourism industry in East India was the theme behind the awards.
The glittering ceremony was held in Kolkata on October 10, providing regional recognition for the Industry. 37 awards were given to distinguished personalities at a dazzling awards ceremony held at the Novotel.
Four industry leaders were felicitated with special awards, which included, Jitendra Kumar Mohanty, commemorated in the Wall of Legends, J T Ramnani as the DDP-Game Changer, Apurva Salarpuria was recognised as a Trailblazer and Debjit Dutta as the Face of the Future.
